Read our Ninja Foodi Blender and Soup Maker review. After a few seconds, we had crushed whole cubes into margarita-ready shards. At the end of the cooking cycle we had a fully cooked soup that was deliciously smooth and cooked through. Most impressive was the soup setting, which allowed us to add a whole onion, chop and saute it, and then top it up with raw carrots, cashews and butternut squash. Even with solid, frozen ingredients, this blender was perfectly capable of making smooth, lump-free drinks. Each comes with pre-set Ninja Auto-IQ functions that control the blending power and timings for each setting. There are plenty of blending modes: Smoothie, Dessert, Frozen drink, Milkshake, Smooth Soup, Chunky Soup, Jam, Sauce, Chop, and Saute. The glass jug is sturdy and heat-proof, and while it can't go in the dishwasher, there is an effective self-clean setting that did a good job of reaching all areas of the pitcher to remove residue. Not only is the Ninja Foodi Blender and Soup Maker capable of making amazing smoothies, but it can also cook sauces and soups from scratch. If it's a best soup maker and blender hybrid you're looking for, look no further.
